Being in software engineering for over 30 years, there is no other place that I have worked that tries as hard to put their employees first and treat them like family. I experienced a personal tragedy and the Solidus team reached out immediately and provided me with support and the latitude to cope with the situation.
I've been developing software at Solidus on a program that is changing how the Air Force makes, deploys and supports weapons systems using the latest in cloud-based technologies. The work is meaningful and it's great to know that my work helps to keep America safe.
Each year I have enjoyed our holiday party and summer family outing. The team has supported my band by attending multiple concerts. Notably, Solidus was extremely supportive when I lost my wife to cancer, attending the memorial service, and even offering rides for my kids.
I was looking for a small company that valued their employees and Solidus stepped up to the plate. Being here for over 10 years, I can say my questions never go unanswered, my feedback is always listened to, and sometimes my suggestions are incorporated. I feel like I have influence.
I have seen them go the extra mile for myself and other team members during difficult times. Having to travel frequently for my job, it’s great to know I can count on a reliable and organized operations team to help me manage my travel questions and expenses.
After being with Solidus for just over a year, my husband and I decided to return to Minnesota. I did not expect to be able to stay with the company with this transition, but they fully supported my request and I am still enjoying the benefits of working for Solidus.

Solidus appreciates each of our employees and enjoys celebrating our work together. We enjoy many fun events together each year, including: a summer family BBQ and outdoor activities, a holiday luncheon and celebration, as well as regular employee luncheons to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries and outstanding achievements.
Solidus Community Support
We are committed to support our employee’s volunteerism and sponsorships and contributions to charitable organizations. To assist employees’ charitable giving and augment the impact of their philanthropic dollars, Solidus has instituted our Giving and Matching Program. This program’s allows employees to focus on areas of giving and volunteerism that are most important to them as individuals.
The fight against cancer is truly personal, with employees and family members affected by the disease. Our Workplace Giving Program enables Solidus employees to make charitable contributions through payroll deduction to Dana Farber.
Being a veteran owned company and having many employed veterans supporting our vets is near and dear to us. We are honored to support NECHV throughout the year and be a sponsor at their yearly Leave No Behind Gala. NECHV is one of the nation’s largest private, community-based providers of human services to Veterans who are experiencing challenges following their military service.
At our annual Holiday party, Solidus organizes a food drive with employees in support of our local food bank through the Lunenburg Turkey Hill Family Lions Club. We are proud to be able to give back to our community each year.
To provide support of education for careers in science, technology, engineering, and math, Solidus is a sponsor of Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) annual events such as their annual 5k or golf tournament. A key facet of AFCEA’s mission is to encourage students to enter science and engineering careers—Defense and non-defense related.
