SEIC will design, develop, integrate, test and deliver,
with the Mission Planning Enterprise Contract (MPEC) team, all required
Mission Planning capabilities. The SEIC will develop and build upon
the tools and solutions from the Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS)
and converge the different Department of Defense (DoD) mission planning
systems into a common DoD Mission Planning Environment. The SEIC will
be the systems integrator across all platforms and services and evolve
JMPS as it adds capability and users.
Key focus areas of SEIC include:
- Continue the requirements development of Mission Planning
systems. This will include the development of Mission Planning systems
architectures, both internal and external.
- Develop a roadmap for future upgrades.
- Develop a Technology Insertion program for the Mission
Planning systems including prototype development. Implement/execute
a Technology Insertion plan through aggressive research and investigation
of new innovative tools and technology.
- Integrate Mission Planning systems development across
all platforms and services (i.e. Army and Navy). Assist, organize
and monitor MPEC development activities.
