For a High Performance Embedded Signal Processor project, Solidus staff participates at senior-levels to design, build and deploy software and systems for these real-time signal processors. The software development includes the design and implementation of a middleware library which facilitates the development of signal processing applications. These applications are high performance, portable, and scalable to various sized clusters and parallel machines. Industry standards, including Message Passing Interfaces (MPI) and the Vector Signal and Image Processing Library (VSIPL), are employed to enable portability.
Also responsible for the design of the RAPTOR high speed radar data recording system. Provide radar system engineering and A/D, recorder and signal processor subsystem design on projects including IPAT, LiMIT, KASSPER (a knowledge based signal processor) and SPARTA.
